Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome that can result from any structural or functional cardiac disorder impairing the ability of the ventricle to fill with or eject blood. The understanding of its causes and risk factors is pivotal for early identification, intervention, and reduction of morbidity and mortality. As medicine continues to evolve, with emerging research providing new insights, it is crucial for practicing physicians to remain updated.
