Summary

Heart failure (HF) is a leading cause of hospitalization and morbidity worldwide. With the diversification of its subtypes, specifically systolic and diastolic heart failure, tailored clinical approaches are essential. Both are distinct entities in terms of etiology, pathophysiology, and management. An accurate understanding of these differences is paramount for clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Learning objectives for the teaching session on heart failure:
