Welcome to QUB CardioSoc's Career Talk series! This webinar will be a talk from Dr Beth Banks, a cardiology registrar in Northern Ireland, who will shed some light on her career path and what a career in cardiology entails!

Dr Banks is an ST5 Cardiology registrar from County Down who went to school in Belfast before studying medicine in The University of Manchester. She has an intercalated Masters degree from Manchester in Healthcare Ethics and Law and returned to Belfast to start her foundation training. She attained a training number in cardiology in Northern Ireland in February 2020. She is currently on my second maternity leave and I have two little girls ages 3 years and 9 weeks. She is also the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) Women in Cardiology representative for Northern Ireland.
