Summary
The SCNC is organizing the CAANS Congress. This is a Bi-annual African continental Congress of Neurosurgeons organised in Kinshasa and Brazzaville from 26 to 28 November 2024. It is proceeded by 2 pre-congress workshops on Neuro-vascular and Spinal surgery.
The theme of the congress is "Optimization of the neurosurgical practice in Africa". The congress' goals are to share experiences, network, and enhance learning to advance African neurosurgical practice into an excellence health care systems.
We will learn and discuss the latest advancements of the neurosurgical practices and procedures, partake in meaningful discussions revolving around neurosurgical training and mentorship, and explore wellness strategies for African neurosurgeons.
The congress will include several sub-themes on multidisciplinary teamwork, panel discussions, women in neurosurgery, and more.
