Recognize and Understand Breast Anatomy: At the completion of the session, participants should be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and understanding of breast anatomy including its various structures and surrounding tissues. 2. Identification of Breast Pathology: The learners should be able to identify common pathological conditions that affect the breast, such as fibroadenoma, breast cancer, fibrocystic changes, and mastitis, and describe their common clinical presentations. 3. Mastery of Breast Examination Techniques: Participants should be able to accurately perform a structured and systematic clinical breast examination, and recognize normal and abnormal findings. 4. Interpretation of Diagnostic Tests: By the end of the session, attendees should be able to understand and interpret results of various breast imaging techniques like mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, as well as biopsy results for accurate diagnosis. 5. Understanding Treatment Options: Participants should gain knowledge of various treatment and intervention options for different breast diseases and be able to discuss their benefits, risks, and implications. This includes surgical treatments, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy.
