This course will explore the basic skills required for delivering unfortunate news to patients and their families – a skill critical across numerous fields including general medicine, family/practice internal medicine, surgery, oncology, critical care, paediatrics, and emergency medicine. We'll take you through fundamental frameworks, provide 'good' and 'bad' examples for illustrative purposes and engage in interactive sessions for a comprehensive learning experience. This is a golden opportunity for students and junior doctors to gain valuable insights and develop a key patient-facing skill.
