The aim of Belfast Trauma team Education Course is to train a multiprofessional team how to use their trauma skills collectively so that timeliness of imaging, definitive care and outcomes for major trauma patients are improved. We have been running virtual sessions during COVID but have now transitioned to hybrid teaching, where the uploaded videos and trauma manual are available beforehand. This means we can then make the best use of face to face teaching which lasts 2 hours and is entirely simulation based. You only need to attend ONE session and upon receipt of feedback you'll get an electronic certificate of attendance. This course is essential for doctors and nurses working in ED, T&O, surgery and anaesthetics.
