Our speaker Leah Argus is a final year medic based at Wythenshawe with an interest in academic surgery. She completed her APEP at the Christie, which was then nominated for a prize at the Association for Surgeons in Training (ASiT) March 2020 Annual Conference. She has experience in research, having completed a MRes in Medical Science 2020-2021 with focus on long term risk prediction modelling after cardiac surgery and being committee members of collaborative research groups such as GlobalSurg-CovidSurg Week and CHOLECOVID. Leah will be speaking all about her experience with the APEP and taking it further after completion so make sure not to miss it!
