Join us for a clinically relevant overview of facial anatomy followed by an introduction to facial trauma, which is one of the most common A&E presentations.
We will cover the bones, vasculature & innervation of the face, touching on the muscles present. In the second half of the lecture, you will learn about the most common types of facial trauma: fractures of the orbit, mandible, nose & lacerations to the soft tissue, as well as facial burns.
This event is being delivered by QUB PRASS, which is the Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery society.
