Description & schedule
Summary
Become a part of our AMSA Leeds Case-based Discussion (CBD) Teaching Series! A perfect opportunity for first to third year medical students to refine their clinical reasoning skills, get an in-depth understanding of medical cases, and see the direct application of theoretical knowledge through discussions moderated by Foundation Year 1 doctors. Each one-hour session will dive into a specific health complaint, helping you navigate through history-taking, physical examination, essential investigations, differential diagnosis, and the identification of the final diagnosis. The series covers a range of scenarios from deteriorating patient consciousness to common complaints like eye pain, breathlessness, acute abdominal pain, and headaches. Don't miss this chance to enhance your clinical competency.

Enhance learning on how to identify differential diagnoses and narrow down to a final diagnosis for cases of breathlessness and acute abdominal pain situations.
