1. To enhance understanding and knowledge of effective and comprehensive cardiac history taking as appropriate for a second-year medical student level. 2. To improve skills in communicating complex cardiologic information understandably and effectively to patients and exhibiting appropriate bedside manners. 3. To gain a deeper understanding of the different conditions and diseases related to the cardiovascular system, alignment of symptoms with possible diagnoses, and requisite advice to be offered to patients. 4. To grasp the process of interpreting a patient's history to enable informed decisions and advice on management and treatment. 5. To develop the skills and knowledge required to confidently approach and perform in year 2 OSCEs, focusing particularly on interacting with cardiac history case studies.
