We are aware that UK medical students are not usually provided with much exposure to ENT/otolaryngology prior to starting their foundation training. That's why we have created this 4-session course aimed at providing incoming foundation year doctors with the fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge needed to ace your FY1 rotation in ENT/otolaryngology. This third session will cover how to manage the surgical patient pre- and post-operatively as an FY1 doctor. These sessions will be presented by Dr Christopher Callaghan, a specialised foundation programme year 1 doctor working in NHS Lothian with prior experience working in ENT at FY1 level.
