Description

The next session in the A+E Survival Guide will cover Upper GI Bleeds. This series is aimed at medical students and junior doctors and will cover common pathologies seen in Emergency Medicine. The sessions will include how patients may present to A+E, typical investigations and management plans for these issues. As always, the teaching will be interactive with case-based discussions and MCQs. So join us at 6pm!

Summary

This session will provide comprehensive knowledge on the A+E management of Upper GI Bleeds, aimed at medical students and junior doctors. Our speakers will cover how patients may present, as well as typical investigations and management plans specific to Upper GI Bleed. 1. To become more familiar with the clinical presentations typical of patients with Upper GI bleed. 2. Understanding common investigations used to diagnose and monitor. 3. Demonstrate a capability to manage and treat Upper GI bleed in an acute setting.
