This webinar series illustrates one of the most formidable aspects of neurosurgical practice - the skull base. We will provide a selection of webinars on lateral and anterior skull base surgery. Established techniques as well as newer approaches are discussed. Webinars will be delivered both by practitioners with many years practice and those who are up and coming in the field.

This webinar will present a summary of the evolution of treatment for Acoustic Schwannomas over the last 30 years and current attitudes and difficulties in treatment. Is there a best treatment? And at what point can monitoring be discontinued? Can we preserve useful hearing? Please join us for an interesting presentation and discussion.

  • Iain Robertson (Speaker) – Consultant Neurosurgeon for 30 years at QMC Nottingham with specialist interest in Skull Base pathology. Recent past President of the Skull Base Society.
