Rounding off our section section on the Neuroanatomy of the Subcortical structures & movement disorders, Ms Claudia Craven, a consultant neurosurgeon at Cambridge University, will bring together topics discussed by our previous 7 speakers through clinical discussion & paediatric case studies.

- Outline the essential anatomy when approaching paediatric neurosurgical emergencies i.e. head trauma, infection, vascular events, hydrocephalus, skull fracture, Cushing's triad
- Explain key physiological principles in these patients
