The World Association of Trainees in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (WATOG) is a non-profit organisation, founded on 7th October 2012 as the first global network for young Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Established under the auspices of the International Federation of Gynecologists and Obstetricians (FIGO), WATOG is committed to empowering Obstetrics & Gynaecology trainees around the world. It aims to provide superior education, overcome cultural and gender barriers, and advocate for the formation and support of Obstetrics & Gynaecology trainee associations at national and regional levels. Collaborating with FIGO and other senior associations, WATOG works to bridge the gap between young and senior professionals in the field. Its primary goal is to amplify trainee involvement in global reproductive health issues, focusing on the health of mothers, fetuses, newborns, and women's health care more broadly, reinforcing WATOG's dedication to fostering a more inclusive, educated, and interconnected global Obstetrics & Gynaecology community. www.watognetwork.org
