Cardiff Students for Global Health is branch of Students for Global Health UK, a UK-wide network of students who challenge inequalities in health that persist across the world. We do this through education, advocacy and action at a local level; run entirely by students of all healthcare professionals, not limited to healthcare students - anyone can get involved! To give you an idea of what to expect, in the last year we attended national conferences organised by SFGH National Branch, fundraised for some great local and global charities, and ran a short course where we covered topics including gender-based violence, HIV, Necropolitics and the effects on health care. We also ran many other great events that you can see by visiting our facebook page. Next year we want to do another great job, focussing on education, advocacy and action! . Being part of SFGH allows you to connect with students all across UK through the Students For Global Health, UK - a National Organisation, which has strong connection to International Organisations, such as IFMSA.
