La Société Congolaise de Neurochirurgie- SCNC (In English: Congolese Association of Neurosurgeons ) is the official registered body that brings together all the neurosurgeons from D.R. Congo and R. Congo: fully qualified neurosurgeons, retired or practicing in country or in diaspora are full members and those in-training are affiliate members. The Society focuses on improving the neurosurgical services, training, research, excellence, and ethical conduct in the neurosurgical practice. The Association was created many years ago but officially launched in 2016. In 2024, the CAANS Congress will be hosted by the SCNC in both Kinshasa and Brazzaville from 26-28 November 2024.
