The New Jersey Thoracic Society is a non-profit statewide, professional and scientific society for respiratory, critical care and sleep medicine. The NJTS is committed statewide to the prevention and treatment of respiratory disease through research, education, patient care and advocacy. NJST shall work to further medical education at all levels in the fields of respiratory medicine; to further scientific interest in clinical, epidemiologic, social and other studies in all aspects of respiratory diseases and to cooperate with other organizations interested in the treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases.
