Who we are The National Medical Research Association (NMRA) is a student-led non-profit association founded in 2022 with the aim of giving UK students and trainees a foundation in medical research. We aspire to break down barriers in research entry and facilitation by championing students in research environments and creating opportunities for students and doctors. We provide our members with the skills, network and confidence to pursue medical research with educational events, our mentorship scheme, and various resources to boost research aspirations. Our vision is to support all who wish to pursue research in medicine, and give them the tools needed for success in academia.
