What the first line treatment

Question:
A 75 year old patient with a history of atrial fibrillation and a prior pulmonary embolism is currently being treated with warfarin. He presents with sudden onset of severe pain, redness, and swelling in his right big toe, along with a high fever. On examination, he has a tender, warm, and erythematous joint with limited range of motion. His serum uric acid level is found to be elevated. How would you approach the management of acute gout in this patient?
