The KCL African Caribbean Medical Society (ACMS), established in 2018, draws inspiration from similar organizations like ACMA UK and Melanin Medics. ACMS focuses on nurturing academic excellence among African and Caribbean students in medicine. It provides a supportive platform for networking, mentoring, and breaking barriers in a historically underrepresented field, ensuring that no one feels isolated on their journey toward medical careers. Our mission: to create an environment in which African and Caribbean students not only feel they belong but in which they can realise their full potential.
