The Association of Surgeons of Uganda (ASOU) is the officially registered body that brings together all surgeons; both in training and fully qualified; retired or practicing; in Uganda or in the diaspora to foster training, research, excellence and ethical conduct in surgical practice. The Association was inaugurated following the resolution of its members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Kampala in 1987.
