We are an organisation led by doctors with the mission to improve awareness, interest and accessibility to careers in Academic Medicine. We work with Universities to deliver talks to medical students from years 1 to 4 on careers in academia, the benefits and considerations of these, and application assistance. We also deliver educational journal clubs with the focus of helping students develop skills in research methodology in a way they find engaging and interesting. We are creating a Buddying Scheme to provide pastoral and research support to medical students throughout their medical school career and beyond.
