Increased vocal fremitus is due to the transmission of vocal vibrations through consolidated or solidified lung tissue, such as in pneumonia, lung cancer, or pulmonary edema. In this case, a mass on the right lung could lead to an increased transmission of these vibrations.

This might be expected in conditions that limit the movement of the diaphragm, such as pleural effusion or diaphragmatic paralysis. A lung mass does not directly impact the movement of the diaphragm.

The disappearance of fremitus is usually associated with conditions that prevent the transmission of vibrations, like pneumothorax or pleural effusion. In cases of lung mass, there is usually increased transmission.

Hyperresonance is associated with an increased amount of air, as seen in conditions like pneumothorax or severe emphysema. A lung mass would not cause hyperresonance, but rather dullness to percussion.
