I undertook one of the country's highest volume complex hip revision fellowships at the NNUH. This was followed by being selected for the prestigious Charnley fellowship at Wrightington Hospital, an internationally renowned centre for complex hip and knee surgery. I have also spent time in Belfast working with Professor Beverland, looking at theatre efficiency and enhanced recovery following hip and knee surgery.

I am fellowship trained in the diagnosis and treatment of young adult hip problems including femoro-acetabular impingement and labral tears. I also have experience of various surgical approaches to the hip, custom and 3D printed implants and robotic surgery.

I have published and presented internationally, and am a reviewer for the journal 'Hip International'. I also have a strong interest in teaching and training.

After being selected to attend Colchester Royal Grammar School, I obtained an intercalated First Class Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Southampton. I completed my higher surgical training on the East Anglian rotation, based primarily at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and the NNUH.
