Oliver Adebayo is a Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery Specialist Registrar in the North East London deanery and the President of the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association. He has an MSc in Surgical Innovation from Imperial College London. Oliver graduated from King's College London in 2013 and undertook his foundation training in the South Thames Foundation School. He was a London School of Surgery Core Surgical Trainee prior to commencing his specialty training in trauma & orthopaedic surgery on the Stanmore Orthopaedic Rotation. As president, he works closely with RCS England, RCSEd, JCST, BOA, T&O SAC, T&O SDG and ATDG to ensure that T&O trainees throughout the UK are fully represented. Oliver is keen to champion sustainability and innovation in surgery. Furthermore, he and the BOTA Committee remain focused on improving the culture, diversity and inclusivity within T&O surgery.
