I, no, everyone. Um so first and foremost, I'd like to invite President Prof Jill Tierney uh to do an introduction and then I'll say a few bits to the people online. Thanks everybody. Good morning and a warm welcome to this weekend's training event. It's kind of an early Christmas present on a Cold December morning to those of you at home. I'm assuming that at home, people can see us this morning. We envy you your duvet annual Slippers very much. So, this event embodies two of the most important things in surgery, collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and skills, trainee surgeons at the moment, face unprecedented challenges and a really tough time. And it's important that everybody in the profession does everything we can to support and help everybody achieve our common goals of competence and skill so that we can help our patients, we can restore function, cure disease and we can save lives. This weekend has been created to provide practical tips towards achieving success in National Selection and Examinations. The Association of Surgeons was founded over a century ago and has a proud tradition, as evidenced by my subtle accessory this morning, I'll tell you how much it's worth over coffee. But the association is keenly aware that tradition rather than the worship of ashes is the handing on of flame. And three years ago, that flame was reignited for us with the formation of the Moynihan Academy, our trainee association. Over that time, I have been genuinely incredibly impressed by the knowledge, skills, talent, dedication of all the surgical trainees involved in that group, shaping and molding it to provide knowledge, support and resources, resources for their trainee colleagues who have an interest in general emergency, general surgery and trauma. I have learned tons. So this event is the result of a positive collaboration with our sister associations. I just need to say how much younger sister associations but with Dukes Ro acid collaboration is always wisdom and it is fantastic to see that younger surgeons get that it reflects reflected today in the quality of the program. For this whole weekend, we are grateful as always to our sponsors, including Ethicon and care and teach me surgery. Without these industry partners, nothing would be able to be produced. None of these essential educational events. I want to extend particular thanks to the human dynamo that is my coa and fellow association presidents. They've given so much to make this happen and without his energy, this wouldn't have taken place. I'd also like to thank all of his committee members. Particular honorary mentioning dispatches to Rosie who I've just met. You are our future and the future really does look bright. I'd also like to thank the expert invited faculty, some of whom are here in the room and thanks so much for giving up your time is really genuinely appreciated. So please listen, learn, but most importantly, have fun. Thank you. Our bling is not so big, but it's um I'd like to invite Phil Pearce, Kate, Hank Max, our trauma rep and Duncan. But to please come to the stage so we can start the trauma panel. I think if you sit there.
