does. Um, probably just hold on for a few more minutes. Daughter. Uh huh. Uh huh. Uh, how optimistic are you feeling? Yeah, I'm not gonna get carried away. Like when we do, I'm becoming me. But I'm happy with what you're saying because mhm. Yeah. So I think I think we can here for, uh, 10 past five. Start. Okay? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Hi, everyone. Uh, good evening. Uh, we have the pleasure of having, uh these will be enlightening us and insight into CST application and interview. Um, I think it's it's probably, uh, one of the most treatable and erectile because it's going through that process. Uh, it's pretty much familiar with, uh, grind. Uh, look forward to very education session. Uh, really exciting time. Um, so I invite, uh, Korean Fire with the presentation. Thanks. Hello. Can everyone here me, please? Can you hear me clearly? Yes, we can. Okay. I am. Sciatica. Is is, uh, we're talking. Probably given an insight into, uh, a surgical training, the application, the interviews And what respect and the best way to go about it. So the objectives and the outcome of this talk is to understand the essence, of course. Surgical training. Uh, what? Why do we do a surgical training? What is the essence of certain of the program? And, uh, I'll talk about the application for the program as well and advice on how to prepare a portfolio and also to be aware of the possible bottlenecks you can meet the obstacles and how to go about them and also the talking about the complete without talking about possible alternatives to the Coast of Training program. So the CA Surgical Training program is a two year post foundation care program, which, uh, the first two years of a surgical training. So, uh, after completing, finally in medical school, I was I was on, um, an eye MG international medical graduates. So a lot of people may not be familiar with the route of training in the UK, so I just talk briefly on that After I graduated medical school. You do two years of foundation F y one and S Y two, and the cost of the training is just like a bridge between the foundation year and, uh, specialty training, surgery, surgical training. None of these eight year program. So the cost of the training, Uh is the two year is a two year program that exposes you to solitary and help you, uh, understand your potential and choose the specialty that you really like. I think that is the oldest of the program and also to help your application for that surgical training. Uh, it has been shown that coal train is a bit more advantage for, uh, I have a good training application that people who did not do a surgical training. So it's a good program because you are well supervised and you're giving advice on what to do that will prepare you for the application for the other three interviews. So the course it's good training can be around to program. It can be about. So it's either when it's run through just S t 12 s, t eight And you don't You don't necessarily have to apply for the three, but you have to benchmark most of the time. So once you have achieved all the goals for US city to ST to, then you cross to a S t three. So in in a few instances, you have to apply and do the interview. But all you just have to do is to benchmark you have a granted job for ST three advisory into a program. I think it was started about three years ago, but for last year's application, there was no run through program for surgery for reason based not today and also their attempt programs Where the Because it's a it's a 24 month program. So you have rotations, which could be four months, six months, eight months or 12 months. For example, Um uh, teams program. And I'm doing six months of vascular surgery and 18 months of orthopedics so you can have other posts, which could be an assortment of other jobs their post way. They're just like six months of different surgical specialties. Some months, six months, urology, six months and six months orthopedics and six months vascular surgeon or something like that. So it all depends on a lot of matching up, and that is what you take into account during Professor, which I will talk about later. So the application is online has been online for a while now for about three or four years, and it is done on the oral website and I've copied the address on the, uh, part of the things you need is if you have not done your foundation here in the UK, you need to get the quest form. But if you have compared the foundation, you know, review and f y tu you do, I don't think you need the question. You just need the certificate, which shows that you've completed the foundation program. So, uh, you make the application on area it will be on in November for the 23 years should be on in November as well after submission to go through the long listing Because, uh, when you before you saw me, they asked most of the questions about the self assessment. So they give you a score and then the long list people based on the cut off. Then, after long listing, they ask you, they they ask you guys to upload. The evidence is for your claims, and a panel goes through. The evidence is, and they either add to your mark or most times the course of your mark. They scrutinize everything, and that is why it's very important to put on undisputable evidence is just for your own good. Um, a lot of mistakes and I'll talk about them as well. So, after being shortlisted, then you get an interview invite. And, uh, if you do well in your interview, you will you will. You will be told if you're accountable now and then you'll be given a rank. Then you'll be sent the preference important where you rank the jobs as you want them. And hopefully you get an offer. Bola also training. So, uh, I will just talk about the self assessment. Uh, if you planning to apply for the cost of laboratory, I think one of the first things you have to do is to search on Google Online. Uh, CST application 2022. I don't think the 2023 self assessment guideline is up and download the pdf documents where all the self assessment point, Uh, I will be talking through self assessment things that what to do and also optimize, uh, marks and also what to avoid the mistakes I made. Just talk about them as well. So you don't fall into the same picture like although I got a job at the end of the day. But I've been in a more better situation without all the stress. So, uh, for talking about last year, the self assessment guideline used for the year applied is a bit different from last year. Applied in 2021 MSCT two now. So for last year, 2020. That's the self assessment guidelines Are we talking about? So, uh, the self assessment, uh, set of checklists and the total market is 72. I would just go off my presentation so we can look through the Self Assessment Island while I dropped through it. Really? So this is 2020 to a surgical training self assessment called EMG guidance for candidates. So, uh, just keep up with all this. It's the closer point is 72. And I think the aim for everyone is to get as much as possible for this mark because this will be used for long listing, uh, later short listing for interviews. So, uh, what I would advise us to do Anyone who's applying for possible between download the these documents is ready have lived on Google, then write out, score yourself, know what you have already, and then write out what you need to do all the things that achieve with your applying later this year. We have two or three months left. Look for achievable things you can do in three months. Uh, you can make due with, uh, goals that you know is unlikely. You're going to achieve a few things you can do within the next 23 months, which can really up to your point. So, uh, for last year, MRCS took a really big part of the mark is four points. If you've passed your MRCs and zero if you have not passed so it doesn't care if you have done it and you've not past or as long as you've passed the MRC, that is four points, which is very significant. When I applied, it was three points. If you've passed the maps, yes, one point if you sat for it, but you have not passed and zero if you've not attempted it at all. But last year was quite different. It's all known, which is four points. So if you're planning to do cause is between. If you're planning to apply the same, uh, I'm not sure if there's any sitting next, but that that is a good one to do also attendance at surgical courses. So, uh, I'm gonna tell you four more courses get to four points, uh, 2 to 3 courses, two points. So what are the the there are some of the The three big course is that a lot of people tend to focus on which is the business. Surgical skills cause the crisp cause. That is the case of the surgical cure of the critically of surgical patient and a TLS. But there are a lot of other causes that acceptable that are not that are more readily available to find than these three courses. But people tend to struggle. Getting places for the street cars are for the, uh, one of the more one of the most one of the easiest course is You can go, which is really available. There's a national character education program, cause if you search for it online, it's really good. And it counts for as well as the courses that accepted for classical training. So the national character education program, uh, course is the catheter course, and then you you should join us it as well. So the name of the causes secret life of catheters, it is free and it's online and you can complain a day. And it's a cause that is accepted for this. The lot, of course, is that being organized by STDs, devastation of surgeons and training. If you not join us, I think this is the best time to join. They usually have a lot of courses which, already available, you know they have An atomic course is equivalent of the business surgical skills, foundation skills and surgery. They have, uh, essential radiology for surgeons and all these courses acceptable. They accepted the score points, uh, during the interview, so you don't have to focus on actually on the business surgical skills, a TLS and the critical, which are very competitive to find. So if you've done for more such because it's that counts as four. Also, if you have departmental causes causes that occurred locally. For example, if there is an X fixed course in your in your center, which you've attended, that should be acceptable as well. So we just put as much as possible and for two evidence for this you just put the certificates for this crisis. I think there's enough evidence for that. So, uh, also operative experience counts. It's canceled, really for this year. When I applied, it was 15. If you had 15, you get the maximum point. But last year it was increased to 30. So, what you just have to do if you don't have a log book, you should register and you register for a log book today and log. Your case is because that's the only acceptable. That's the only accepted, uh, evidence for this. So you need the log book where you got your case. So if you've got above 30 cases, you just called maximum 2029. I get 4 11, 2 19 to. So even if it is, assist the all counts. And to evidence this. This is one of the first mistakes I made on my I had, like, 70 cases why it's called zero for that because the consultant will sign my log book in Put a GMC number on the so this is a mistake to avoid. When you sign your log book, it's just a consolidated sheet for the log. When you get on a log book, you can get a consult report of all the cases you make sure the consultant write the name for the signature a name with the date as well as a GMC number. There's no space for GMC number, so it's easy to overlook. So just make sure Consultant put the GMC number. Otherwise, the evidence is going to be rejected. I got zero for that, which took a significant chunk of my mark, UH, then attend the surgical conferences. This was not part of the marks when I applied, but it was introduced last year. So, as I said earlier, one of the things to do is to join us. It's it's It's, of course, is we really run almost all over the idea about over about 5 to 6 conferences every year, and if you attempt three of them that you get the maximum point, there are other, Uh, the other situation is you can join as well, including the rail color surgeon in England. But they have a lot, of course, is the organized can always check them out. British Trading Association. British. Additional geology, insurgents. Just such a lot. A lot of conferences. I know it may be difficult, but if you really want to score, I think you have to do everything you have at it and surgical experience is for last year. If you had a surgical job, which is more than 12 weeks, you get maximum school. So if you've had a foundation uh, f one F two year and you've done more than 12 weeks in the surgical rotation, then you get maximum point. And if you've done if you've not, But you've done a test a session, get to. So if you, uh and I mg I didn't do your foundation here in the UK, but you've done, uh, if your job in the UK is a such a good job, and that should get a maximum point, you just need to get a letter from your HR stating the start day of the job as well as the day you left the job. But if you're still in the job just to let it stay in the letter that you're still on the job and that should be enough evidence otherwise you have such a good job. You should try to get a test a session, which should be a minimum of five days. It doesn't count for anything if it is less than five days and I'm sure you can call the secretaries or of this unit and ask them about original. There's still a week for you. So, uh, I spoke about the specialty. There's, uh, substance. Also the surgical specialties. So, as I said earlier, uh, for the MRCs past past, you get less confirming that you've passed so that the evidence you need for the surgical causes the certificate to get should have all the information in there. And that is another thing. And as I said earlier, make sure the GMC number of the consult and signing the your log book is there as well. So, uh, going out to prescribe it degrees. If you're going to apply in November, you can get you can get a degree in the next three months. So there is no point focusing or wasting your time. But if you're planning to apply next year, I'm not sure if there's any problem that runs from now to next August. But if they can give you a sure a lot of courses dot com, a lot of people don't have PhDs or if you have good for you, so don't feel into the data. If you don't have. And, uh, if because if you train there in the center where you get a bachelor degree first before continue into the mid year, that's the tree for you. Another lot of cases. Just, uh I think it's been breaking for a while, Like the last 30 seconds or so. Okay. Can you hear me now? Uh uh. It's still same. It's quite correctly, and we can make out the words. I'm not sure. Probably the network, but can you Is it Is it any better now? Yes, it is now. Okay. But I hope I could I would just go back a bit. So I was talking about the surgical placement. Uh, you don't want to re share your screen. Okay? I'll go back, and we share my screen. No. Yeah. Can you see my screen now? Hello? It's not open yet. It should be up. I think you need to select the, uh, option for the screen. Yeah, It should show I'm sharing my skin right there. Can you see it yet? Uh, sharing the game and go back. She'll My screen. Can you see it now? So I'm sharing the screen now. Can you see it? we can see it now. Uh, it's on slideshow as well. What about now? Can you still see it? Because I'm trying to run through the self assessment guideline, right. Hello. I didn't know what you said. You see my screen. Can you still see my screen now? Yeah. Uh, okay. So I'm not sure where I broke off. Well, I was talking about Yeah, I think after you spoke about conferences, okay. So just just start from sexual experiences. And then I think, uh, I think we spoke about conferences. This, uh yeah. So I was talking. If you don't, if you've never had a such a good job or surgical placement in foundation Yeah, then you should arrange a test this session, which should be for at least five days for it to count and to get two points. But if you've got I think you should organize that as soon as possible before the application starts. Then I was talking about post graduate degrees. Uh, as I said, you don't have to be worse if you don't have a post graduate degree right now and you're planning to apply in 23 months. There is no point freaking out over there. A lot of people will not have as well, so it's not something you can easily achieve in two months. But if you're planning to apply for example, next year, you can look out for programs if you're interested in this. But I think it's better to focus your energy on more. Are you part of the scholar? So if you have a PhD good for you, you have four points. If you had a bachelor's degree in addition to your primary medical qualification account for three points. Uh, if you okay, and if you have a research master's degree, that comes from three point. If you have just done a master's degree, a lot of people will have a lot of people. It comes comes for two. And if you've had some other qualifications following your past medical qualification, including the PG SSBG accounts for one. So one thing I usually advise people, uh, for this November it may be too late, but if you're planning to apply for next November, you can do a PG certificate in medical education, and this will count. This will get you a course in two different places, get to one point as part of your additional post graduate degrees and also qualification in teaching, which is a good thing to do. And so everything you just need to put a certificate you get for for this post it on the okay, so prices and awards also count. If you have an award from the National Conference or national program, then you should get maximum score for that. And if you have a distinction in your final year, uh, in your final year, that should get you the maximum score as well what you've done. Uh, if you have an award from a regional program or original institution, uh, competition, then that comes for trade. A lot of people don't have prices, so you don't need to freak out. But if you have a presentation and you are able to if you want to present at the conference, that is, that is a good place to get prices from. And if you have some price from your undergraduate degree, then you should get some scores. Are some some point as well. I got, uh, the intermediate point because I got some prices from my medical school. Just have to put the certificates you get for those or if you don't have, you don't have to freak out. So now I'm going to talk a lot about audits because this is like it was 11 points when I applied, but it was eight point last year. It's something you can walk on in the next three months and score and get the maximum score. So if you train all your weight at something, then it should be at the audit. You should try to not just get involved, but lead is surgically teamed. Audit. I should try to close the cycle. So, uh, I know a lot of people, especially if you are an international medical graduates, maybe new to the concept of audit or maybe quite foreign so as well. These are quality improvement projects that you you can do. And then h s as put a lot of emphasis on it a lot. If you have blocks about trying to get a topic to do an audit on, but you can. One of the things you can do is to check online and look for guidelines in your unit. Uh, if you in general surgeon, for example, you can go two nights and check a lot of general surgery guidelines, which can give you ideas about audits projects to do. Another thing you can do is to follow up the other departments in your hospital and ask if there is an ongoing audit that involves your department or any surgical audit that you could be a part of it. And you'll be surprised that a lot of audits that are still going on and you can work on that is another good thing to do. When I said my city one, that was when I got the street. So I called the audit department and told them I was down. If there was any audit that's going on and they're able to do about six audits, uh, my six month rotation, uh, orthopedics insurance rates. So if there is something you should throw all your weight on, you should try to get you to try to lead a security audit and try to present them. So even if you present them locally, as long as you close the loop and you present them, then you should get the maximum call for that. So if you are going to focus on your attention or something. Then that should be It should get the maximum point for those. And, you know, every point counts, uh, in your service. And they're a lot of people trying to get in, and you just have to try your best to be very competitive. So I won't bother talking about the other part because my advice is for everyone to aim to get the maximum score with the audit. I hope you guys can see. Hear me? Yes. Loud and clear. Perfect. So, as I said, either is one part. You should go through all your attention and it should be an audit, please. And, uh, teaching experiences. If you have a teaching job, then I think that should be quite clear. Because from your application letter, you should have, uh, the letter specifying what your job is being involved in teaching medical student. And that should be enough evidence then that should get the maximum score. What have you, uh, in a country job or not? Not in the teaching job. And you've been involved in teaching. You should try to get the evidence is you need and the evidence is should take the length of the period which you were involved in teaching and also the frequency of the sessions, because this was part of the mistakes I made when I was applying. I did a couple of teachings over the years over the year was there, and the frequency was about once in a month. But during the letter I got from the consultants, it just said I was teaching for over a year, but I didn't talk about the frequency and I was marked down. I was initially given six points, then I contested and said I should be getting eight points for that. And then they had a look again and they said the frequency was not there. They marked me back to to so which was really out breaking. So if you're going to get a letter, reach through the services, my guideline and try as much as possible for the letter to be awarded as how they, uh, as I stated on the guidelines. So if you want to realize you, you can try to put the world's contributed regularity teaching for medical, say within the last year, which includes four or more sessions, you should try to be quite detailed in the warden's in the evidence you're going to supply. And then there's the advice. I'm going to get that. Then you can look through, uh, the other part of it as well. So training and teaching. I know a lot of people may not have to be teaching. Well, if you're going with the mindset of every point counts the few things you can still do to get just a point or two. Right now, there are some teaching course is which run for about two days. I did one, then the Oxford Medical, uh, Oxford Medical Teaching Program. Sorry. Um, sorry for interrupting. I think it's gone quite properly again. Uh, I wonder if it's possible to maybe move around the road or something. Let me just sitting across from the router, actually. Okay. I'm just going to back around. Uh, how about now? Hello? I think it's about the same. Yeah, because just except it's just me. Um can people drop comments just to know if it is a general problem? I hope it's not my own connection. Um, hello? Yeah. Can you hear me? Better now? Hello. I can actually hear you loud and clear. I think I can hear you now. Uh, let's Okay, So, uh, I was talking about was talking about training, teaching, and, uh, if you don't have any, there's still a few things you can do to get some point in that. A couple of online courses you can do, uh, accepted, Uh, the the I did an online model, which got me one point because it lasted for less than two days. But it's about 200 lbs, but there are a couple of free courses online as well. You can check on Google then. I'm sure you you can get some courses that are free, which should be accepted as well. If you have done the PG set, as I have said earlier, that should get 23 points here and also get you one point as well as the post graduate qualifications, which is what I advise people are planning to apply, probably next year is something they can look up for. Well, if you don't have anything, you can do a few online courses which should get to the point because I said every point counts and then you just need to put in the certificates you get from the institution as well. And then the presentation, Uh, I know a lot of people will have presentation, and also, a lot of people may not have presentation because of cove it. I know it's a bit tight getting conferences and not, but if you have presentation is very good, especially use the national presentation where you careful? Four points. If you have, uh, projects that you plan to present the love conference, you can do as I said earlier assets. They have a lot of, uh, conferences, which you can look out for and try to present. I'm not sure if anything is happening anytime soon, where you can look out for those avenues where you can present your, uh, audits or your publications or your extra even posters in national setting and that you get your good points. So these are things to look out for, really. And if you've done any presentation, you just have to get the evidence from the organizers know certificates that shows that you've been involved in these presentations, and that should be accepted as well and, uh, publications that you know, a lot of people freak out about a lot of things I don't have. Publications are very public. A lot of people won't have publications as well. When I applied, I don't have any publication, But if you have publication is good for you, you should make sure you have enough evidence for that. Which is the problem. It i d. That is accepted evidence for publications. Uh, so even if you've been involved in collaborative publications is accepted, just have to look through the guideline and see the one that fits you the most. But if you're applying in November and you don't have any publications, it may be a bit difficult getting things before November only if you have something in the pipeline and likely to come out before then. Well, if you don't have to worry too much, if you don't have any anything you can do right now and I'm sure everyone will have been involved in a leadership or management through at one time or the other. And this is where the coming if you've been involved in wrote a management, for example, there's a leadership role, uh, which is at the local level, which you get at least three points. And if you have been part of a national organization, for example, if you, uh, all the leadership position in, for example, the BMA or a seat or that is one of the reasons to join us because, as you usually need people in rules and this can get you, uh, a mark for a national leadership. Well, because if you're applying in November, as, uh, it may not come out a lot because what they need six months or more, but just try to get involved as much as possible. Even if it is wrote a management, for example, you get some point. If you've had any rules, you get a letter from the organization where where you you add the leadership role and that should be enough. Evidence is it should stay the rule. You undertook the duration of the appointment, and it should be signed by the representative from there. So so I would just go back to my presentation. So the maximum possible score for from the self assessment 72 points and I'm sure everyone if we go through the checklist, everyone should be able to get know where they stand right now, and what needs to be done. So you have to get enough marks to be competitive enough to at least get to you long listed and shortlisted for an interview. The thing I would advise everyone to do, I But I do. It myself is to look through the guideline, uh, check things that I need to do to maximize my points. Write it out and put it on the sticker board on the wall, close to your bed so you can see it every day and take things that you get it done. It may look a bit silly, but you will be surprised at things you can achieve when you actually write out what you have to do. So, uh, so for the when you get short listed, you'll be invited so you get long listed. Then they ask you to upload. Evidence is onto the portal. I'm not sure the interviews are going to be in person this year, but if they're in person, then you have to go with your physical portfolio with all your evidence is in paper form, and they have to look through it in person where it's going to be off online as it has been done for the past three years. Then you they'll give you access to a portal and there will be different agents. Where you upload evidence is for all your claims. Uh, then, uh, after being shortlisted, you'll be given an interview invite. You get the date you choose the best time and the best dates for you. Always on a first come first serve basis. You know, the people who log in earlier, get the dates that sue them better and later people have to settle for the other available dates and times. So on the day of the interview, if it is going to be online, because I can only talk about online because that is what I experienced. And that is what I know about the interview who is in two parts, really is in two parts of 20 minutes of 10 minutes, each with a total of 20 minutes. So there is a management part and there is a clinical part. So the interview, which is usually online, given a link you, you they usually to interviewers. And there there may be a taught layperson just to be present to, uh, supervise the whole thing, and they would have given you a presentation topic about a month, even a month or two weeks before the interview. And the topic has been constant for about the last 34 years, if I can remember, and it's constantly reflect on your experience of leadership when working as a member as a team member, and I was used to be used as a core training, so you can they will give you enough time to build the presentation, which you can practice, You know, practice with people, let them find loopholes and help you find Tune it, and you should be really confident in presenting yourself. You know, you just have to sell yourself. Never need to sell yourself as a leader on that day. That will be. You will be given three minutes to present that, and you will be asked a few questions about your presentation for another two minutes, which made a total of five minutes, Uh, just to ask questions about a few things you claimed you've done, you know? Then, uh, the next five minutes will be, uh, management questions, which I'm sure when it's time to prepare for interviews. The interview books and then a couple of management questions, including giving you scenarios where, for example, your colleagues, uh, your colleagues connect, communicates to work or someone who's supposed to relieve you from your core is not coming up on time and what you can do in those situations, you know, the uh, wide area of questions they can ask and getting, uh, interview books. There's a green and white book, which is really good for this, uh, has the stations, which you can practice and then the next 20 minutes for the next 10 minutes. There are two clinical scenarios, and usually you get, uh, Cramps station like, uh, just like on world patients on the world. And sometimes, uh, then, uh, TLS stations. If you if you people get to creep stations, for example, and if people get to trauma stations, you just have to practice this as much as possible. Before the day of the interview. The best things I will advise you to do is to get someone who's just on the interview. Probably if you have a CT one or is it between your unit, you can always practice with them even an X t three because they've just done an interview as well. The people you can practice with, uh and then at the end of the day, your portfolio score, which you've done earlier before the interview date. Score over 72. Your management station score over 72 as well as the think station. Score over 72 is all added up and you get a score over 216. Then everyone is drunk and our ideal score over 216 from all this, and then you get a rank. So when I applied about 707 100 jobs that about and if you're wrong keys, let's say you round one over 700 then you get the job you want most. That is the whole essence of the ranking. But that doesn't affect just when you're ranked and you give them preferences, for example, you just have to preference the job as you want them. You don't have to dwell on your rank. You just have to, because the number one person may not want the job you want. For example, my my ranking was mid range, but I got the my top ranked jobs. I got my 20. It's ranked jobs are about because I wanted to orthopedics. Then I ranked the jobs, which had a lot more orthopedics in them at the top. And I got a job, which are the 10 months of orthopedics and small vascular, which is perfect for me. I can't think of something better. So a lot of things to take into account when you're referencing jobs, you know, location. If you have a house, for example, in the particular part of the country, you may want to stay there. Or if there's a particular specialty you want, then you can put the jobs that are more special about at the top. There are a lot of different things to put in mind when you, uh, referencing, but my advice is just preference the jobs as you want them, regardless of your rank, you may still get the job you want most, even with the lower rank and all the of the day. Uh, you get the job that is available for the eye is drunk, you get so if you run the job 30 something, and if you run your best job on and someone who ran that and you as preference, the job as well. They will get it over you well down the line. A lot of Iran people may not want the job you want, and you may have to get a job you really like. It's a big complex. Well, when you get to that bridge, you cross it. Then you get an offer, which is, have you get a letter from the institution where you have in the position and do a lot of paperwork? The area. So, uh, hopefully if you follow the advice and do well with the interview, I think it's really achievable to go constantly. Training number. It is not as it is not. It is not easy, but it is not impossible as well. But you just have to know a few things that can happen when a few things can go wrong. So, uh, to get into a surgical training, for example, you must have done less than 18 months in surgery Post Foundation. So if you spent more than 18 months or by the time you're going to be starting a new job, you've done more than 18 months in such a good job, then you may not be qualified to apply for a surgical training and another of people who got emails about this and they were disqualified, even from the long listing stage. And, uh, some people may not get the best job. It's a possibility, especially the ranking is low or they may not get the best location. You just have to walk around it and choose what is best for you. So, uh, what are the things to do? Because not everyone would cause such a training job would like it. A lot of people will not get the jobs, but there are a lot of things to do to prepare you for like, because of the day. If you're not getting the run through a program, everyone is still going to apply for the the tree. So there are things you can do. You can get, uh, teaching job, great job or jobs where you have rotations that are similar to cost. Between that, a lot of those jobs available, you know, lead to the program in Wakefield, where you have rotations in surgical specialties that are mirrored after the classical training program, and they prepare you to apply for a tree or whatever specialty you want. And, uh, you then even if you don't get a C three down the lines, as of scope of this topical that this is the pathway where you can work as a register for a while and pass your exams. And now they have to do some paperwork to become a consultant, which is the ultimate him. So, uh, this is the talk. Essentially. Well, I'm happy to take any questions if there is any. Uh, I'm sorry. It Maybe it was not the smoothest talk. Well, you can take a lot of questions from the child box, Mr uh, All right. He's waiting for the thanks for this session. Um, I think network was the constable, uh, for a bit. I'm not quite sure if it's just me, Um, but I think they were kind of breaks in the chamber. At least we have this, uh, slides. And it might just be like my own connection, because I can't see any other person saying the experience. Similar challenge. So it might be me anyway, um, yeah. Do you have any questions? Um, not quite. So I think the I think I realized this quite slit myself. So apparently, the way the meeting was set up, uh, something went, uh, fundamentally wrong with it. Did. So it was set up to start about 24 hours early. Uh, and then I think apparently a lot of people were struggling because it looks like the link are expired. Uh, but we have the that. But we have the video, and we Well, we'll put it on the group because I got a lot of messages. People struggling to connect, which is why, uh, we have, uh, the law turn out. Um, so we'll post the video on the across the groups for people to catch up with, and then they can still do you still have the benefit of providing the box regardless. And then if we have any questions, if anyone has a question, they can always send me an email. You can put my email. Yeah, I'll post you put your email. Uh, and if you want to schedule this for another time, I'm happy to be involved. So if you want to have a repeat, Yeah. Yeah, that's that's That's something we would like to consider. Uh, so I think I'll try. I'll give you feedback from, uh, from people Generally business. You feel as if people think after listening to the recording, you still want to have a repeat session. I live sessions, you know, people asking questions. Yeah, so do I. So I and I was really I was really looking forward to that. Hopefully, that's better than yeah, I would. Um, Yeah. So I'll gather the feedbacks, and, uh, the filler is that people would like to have another session and you can have that conversation. That is fine. You just have to agree on a specific date which will not be a business like this one, actually. Thank you very much. So I think I have a lot of them. Thank you very much. Do this. Cheers. Bye. Right?
