Hello, everyone. Welcome to our CPD approved online talk on many cases and handovers. So I would like to hand over to doctor Arie. Hi, guys. Um, I'm all right. So this is, uh doctor, can you please review session? Two. I don't know how many of you were in session. One. But, um, we went through at and life supports and stuff like that. So this is gonna be more about handovers and case study. We're gonna go through a couple of cases. Um, so I have taken on the feedback from last time. So, um, I'm just gonna ask a quick thing. So last time we used Menter and some people found it a bit distracting. Um, so would you guys prefer to do chat box or switch between the screens of the powerpoint and Menter if that's, you can put that in the chat box first and then we can get started straight away. I'll just wait a couple of minutes. It's completely up to you guys. Um, I'm easy with whatever Manter is anonymous chat box isn't. That's the only other thing. Um, I think last time we had a lot more people as well. So, I don't know if that's also a reason. Um, ok, while we can put that in the chat box, I'm gonna carry on and we can decide. Yeah, my standard slide. Um, those of you've been in these sessions in, um, anything I've taught before. Um, I will introduce myself and I'll go through some housekeeping. Um, I'm R ei am currently an ST one in Lon or just outside of London. Um, working in medicine. Um, I graduated from Bulgaria in Feb of 2000 22. Um I started work as an F one in March and then I was fortunate enough to get into the F YT stand alone program, which meant that um, I did F YT stand alone rotating through A&E surgery and intensive care anesthetics, did an F three in Itu in London and um an ST one. yeah, uh very fast track through my career. Um I do like a lot of medical education so I do teach a lot. I do a lot of, um CV checks and interview stuff and I do a lot of stuff with Scape and other organizations as well. Um And then what's today about? So today is gonna focus on handovers and then it's gonna go into a couple of cases where I'm hoping you guys can practice, um being an F one holding the bleep. Um It's gonna be really interactive, um, feel free to put cameras on, feel free to unmute your mic get involved. Um If we use the chat box or we can use meter depending on what people would prefer. Um um I apologize. It's a really serious football match going on at the moment. Um And my family are all keen football enthusiastic. If you hear some screaming, I'm really sorry. Um It's a safe space to ask questions, ask questions. Um There's nothing stupid. I want we learn from each other on mute. There's a feedback form at the end, please do fill it out. It helps me and it helps me improve these sessions like I've taken on feedback from the last, which is why we decided to do ha handovers today. Um Tell to say what you'd like to be taught on and we can try and get that arranged and I really hope that you go away from today having built some confidence in yourselves and feel that you can do the job and it's not as scary. Um So yeah. OK. So no one's commented. So I'm usually menting me. So just cos I think I have worked on it and it means that you guys can, hopefully everyone can get involved and there's not that many people, which is quite nice. So it means that um I wanna know about you basically. So if you guys go on to menter, the code is 45811298, I'll put the screen up and there'll be a couple of questions Ok and um yeah, we can get started. So what grade are you? Yeah, this way I can cater the session too. You guys? And um. Yeah. Mhm. Again, it's not my baby. So hopefully, um everyone gets involved. The session isn't gonna be helpful if you don't get involved. Um, and this way it's anonymous. I don't know who's pit bull. Yeah, I'll wait a couple more minutes and then we'll go on to the next one. Um Again, the next slide is gonna be the same as last week and asking about your fears about starting work. Um, ok, so a lot of graduated looking for a job. Um And a lot of fourth or fifth years is kind of moving into this, which is great, which is kind of what the session was meant to be case towards us. Um Yeah. How do you feel about starting work? How do you feel about holding a bleep? How do you feel about doing a handover? How do you feel about working a night shift and not knowing where your ed is novice? Yeah. Um So I had a very similar talk when I was an f when I was final year actually. And, um, this is exactly how I felt, anxious, nervous, terrified, stressed, um A little bit excited to get out of work, but yeah, definitely felt unprepared. You have worked in Bulgaria or Romania wherever. And it's a very
