The training will take place in the remote location of Coverack, a coastal YHA on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, and taught by an expert faculty with skills in leadership, resilience, and remote medicine. Scenarios will focus on both medical and non-technical skills, and workshops will offer time and space in a beautiful outdoor environment to explore what we mean by resilience and how we can learn from each other’s experiences during the pandemic, both in this country and colleagues working across the globe in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). Joining instructions Please arrive on time on 22nd. There are 25 spaces in Coverack on 21st June if you would like to stay the night before. These are allocated on a first come first served basis. Please contact plh- tr.pgmccourses@nhs.net to book if you would like to stay on the 21 . st You will be sharing rooms in dormitories in the YHA. The dress code is informal, please see the kit list below. Meals and accommodation are included. Please bring money for tea and cake and a reusable mug. Alcohol is not included. Weather pending, there will be an optional guided kayak trip which will cost £20 per person for two hours. This is entirely optional. Please bring a wetsuit and booties if you have them, change of clothes and shorts and rash vest and waterproof jacket to wear.
