Methotrexate in uveitis

Just to confirm- methotrexate is used to treat uveitis correct?

It does cause uveitis as an adverse effect?

Because I found a question which says that methotrexate is associated with development of uveitis.

Question:
A 55-year-old man with a history of psoriasis presents to you with a 2-day history of red and painful right eye. On examination, there is marked conjunctival injection, but vision remains unaffected. His psoriasis is currently well controlled on Methotrexate. He has not been using any new eye drops or medications recently. What is the most appropriate immediate management strategy?
Options:
A)Prescribe chloramphenicol eye drops
B)Prescribe a short course of topical corticosteroids
C)Urgently refer to ophthalmology
D)Initiate systemic antibiotics
E)Counsel the patient to stop Methotrexate immediately
